Mon, 10/30- Wear Red Day

Let's be DRUG FREE! Wear a red shirt, red pants, red socks, a red ribbon to support and promote a drug free lifestyle.

 

Tues, 10/31- "Put a Cap on Drugs" or "Put a Sock on Drugs"

Wear a crazy hat or crazy socks.  **Please note- students are NOT wearing costumes this day.**

 

Wed, 11/1- Storybook Character Day

It's much better to get lost in a book than drugs! Students can dress up as their favorite storybook character. We'll have a parade in the morning and fall festivities in the afternoon.  Don't forget your book!

 

Th, 11/2- My Future is Bright

Making good choices leads to a brighter future! Students can wear a pair of sunglasses.

 

Fri- 11/3- LOWELL Unicorn Day

Being a part of a supportive group helps keep you drug free.  Let's show our support for each other, our school, and our community by showing our school spirit.  Students can dress up in Lowell attire or in Unicorn attire.

This is a quick message letting you know that if you registered your student the first week of school or before school started, and filled out a uniform voucher - those vouchers have arrived and are available to be picked up at the front desk between 8am and 4pm. Please remember that we are a uniform school every day, and this means collared polo like shirts and khaki, blue, or black pants or skirts. On FRIDAY's ONLY, we do allow simple jeans & school spirit shirts to be worn.

Registration will continue this week

from 8:00am-3:30, in our front office.  

 

Returning students: Please bring the following documents with you to registration

  • Two (2) forms of proof of residency (see below) 
  • Current shot record
  • Parent/Guardian's driver License

New students, Incoming kindergarten students, and students of families living with families: You will need to provide proof of residency (see below) along with the following documents: 

  • Two (2) forms of proof of residency (see below)
  • Parent/Guardian's driver License 
  • Current shot record
  • Birth certificate

 

Lowell Elementary School's Proof of Residency Requirements 2017-2018

 

You are asked to provide two (2) forms of proof of residency this year.  All forms of proof of residency must be in the parent's name and address.

Please choose ONE (1) from EACH of the lists - A and B.

 

CHOOSE ONE (1) FROM LIST A (to prove which dwelling you live in)

  • Mortgage Payment Receipt dated within the past 60 days
  • Bernalillo County Property Tax bill dated within the last year
  • Current Lease / Rental Agreement with the name, address, and telephone number of the owner and renter included

AND

 

CHOOSE ONE FROM LIST B (added proof due to school capacity)

  • Public Service Company (PNM) bill dated within the past 30 days
  • NM Gas bill dated within the past 30 days
  • Phone bill (land line only - no cell phone bills) dated within the past 30 days
  • Cable, Satellite, or Direct TV bill dated within the past 30 days
  • Internet Service bill dated within the past 30 days
